About the AEO Audit & Answer Readiness
Featured snippets, voice assistants and AI answers favour pages that ask a question in a heading and answer it in the first sentence or two. The checker finds question headings, tests whether a concise answer follows, and looks at lists, tables, sentence length, author and dates.
FAQ and HowTo markup is reported, not rewarded: Google shows FAQ rich results only for a small set of authoritative sites.
How it works
- We fetch the URL from our server like a crawler: redirects are followed (up to five), private and internal addresses are refused, and large pages are capped.
- The checks run on the live HTML and response headers. Nothing is guessed: every finding shows what we observed.
- Results are not stored unless you are signed in, in which case they appear in your dashboard history.
Frequently asked questions
How long should an answer be?
Lead with one or two sentences (about 40–60 words) that answer directly, then expand with detail, steps or examples.
