About the Featured Snippet Analysis
Enter your page and the competitor pages that rank or get cited for the same question. We measure the answer content on each page: question headings with a direct answer, definition sentences, lists and tables, FAQ markup and sentence length.
The question gaps list shows questions the competitors answer that your page has no heading or answer for. We do not show which page a search engine currently uses for a featured snippet; that would need live search data.
How it works
- We fetch the URL from our server like a crawler: redirects are followed (up to five), private and internal addresses are refused, and large pages are capped.
- The checks run on the live HTML and response headers. Nothing is guessed: every finding shows what we observed.
- Results are not stored unless you are signed in, in which case they appear in your dashboard history.
