How it works
Paste a repository URL. We read it through GitHub's public API – description, topics, language, stars, licence and homepage – and suggest developer directories, relevant awesome lists and community resources.
We never post in repositories or open pull requests for you. Each awesome list has its own contribution rules; read them and submit by hand.
What counts as a verified link
Links to the repository and any path under it (issues, releases, docs) count as links to the repository.
Every check is stored with the HTTP status, redirects and anchor text, so you can see exactly when a link appeared – or disappeared.
Frequently asked questions
Does the github backlink generator post links for me?
No. It finds legitimate places that accept this kind of asset, prepares listing copy from your own metadata and tracks the result. You submit, following each site's rules. Automated submission happens only where a destination offers an API or permission.
How do I know a link is real?
Links to the repository and any path under it (issues, releases, docs) count as links to the repository.
Is it free?
Analysing URLs and the starter limits for tracked assets and backlinks are free. Paid plans add more assets and scheduled monitoring.
